Service Providers have access to Personal Information only to perform their tasks on Our behalf and are obligated to not disclose or use it for any other purpose.
• For corporate purposes: We may share or transfer Personal Information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Our assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. In addition, We may share Personal Information with our Affiliates, in which case We will require those Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
• For Law Enforcement: Under certain circumstances, We may be required to disclose Personal Information under applicable law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
• For other legal reasons: We may disclose Personal Information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary in the limited circumstances set out at the end of the “Consent” section above.

As mentioned above, We may use third-party Service Providers for payment processing. If You purchase Our products through the Website, at the time of payment you will be redirected to the third-party payment processor’s online e-commerce platform to complete payment. We will not collect or store Your payment card details, and will only store a transaction reference. The third- party payment processors’ use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy, not Our Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Retention of Your Personal Information

We will retain Personal Information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the identified purposes, as required for Our legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes, and enforcing contractual obligations), and/or to comply with applicable legal, tax or regulatory requirements. If We use Personal Information to make a decision that directly affects You, We will retain that Personal Information for at least one year so that You have a reasonable opportunity to request access to it. Personal Information provided on credit application forms will be retained by Our
Credit Department for seven years.

We may also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Website or the Service, or where We are legally obliged to retain this data for longer time periods.

We may use and disclose aggregated and anonymous or de-identified information to third parties, but only after We have removed any Personal Information that would identify or be associated with any particular individual. This type of aggregated and anonymous or de-identified information can help Us to improve the Service and the Website. We will never sell this aggregated information.

Ensuring Accuracy of Your Personal Information

ReadyWire will make reasonable efforts to ensure that Personal Information is accurate and complete where it may be used to make a decision about You or disclosed to a third party.  We do not routinely update Personal Information unless it is necessary to meet the purpose for which it is collected. We therefore rely upon You to keep Your Personal Information accurate and up to date.

You may request correction to Your Personal Information in order to ensure its accuracy and completeness. A request to correct Personal Information must be made in writing using the contact information set out at the end of this Privacy Policy and provide sufficient detail to identify the Personal Information and the correction being sought. ReadyWire will take reasonable steps to verify Your identity prior to fulfilling the request. If the Personal Information is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete, We will correct the Personal Information as required and send the corrected Personal Information to any organization to which We disclosed the Personal Information in the previous year. If the correction is not made for any reason, We will note Your correction request in Our records.

Securing Your Personal Information

We are committed to using reasonable security arrangements and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, loss, theft, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Access to Your Personal Information

You have a right to access Your Personal Information, subject to limited exceptions (including, without limitation, where disclosure would reveal Personal Information about another individual, where disclosure would give rise to health and safety concerns, or if solicitor-client privilege applies). A request to correct Personal Information must be made in writing using the contact information set out at the end of this Privacy Policy and provide sufficient detail to identify the Personal Information being sought. We will take reasonable steps to verify Your identity prior to fulfilling the request.

Upon request, We will also tell You how We use Your Personal Information and to whom it has been disclosed, if applicable.

We will make the requested information available within thirty (30) business days (or sooner if required by applicable laws), or provide written notice of an extension where additional time is required to fulfill the request. A minimal fee may be charged (where permitted by applicable laws) for providing access to Your Personal Information. Where a fee may apply, We will inform You of the cost and request further direction from You on whether or not you wish to proceed with the request. If We refuse Your request in full or in part, We will notify You in writing, providing the reasons for the refusal and the recourse available to You.

CCPA Privacy (California)

This section applies specifically to consumer customers of Ours who reside in the State of California.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

CCPA means the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Personal Information means any information that identifies, relates to, describes or is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular California consumer or household.

Your Rights under the CCPA

We don’t and will not sell Personal Information.

The categories of Personal Information We collect about California consumers, together with our sources of this information, business purposes for collecting this information, and entities with whom We share this information are described above in the “Collecting and Using Your Personal Information” part of this Privacy Policy.

If You are a consumer customer of Ours who resides in California, You have the following rights:

• The right to know. You have the right to know about the Personal Information We collected and/or disclosed about You during the prior 12 months. Specifically, You have the right to know:
  • The categories of Personal Information collected;
  • The categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected;
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting and disclosing the Personal Information;
  • The categories of third parties with whom We shared the Personal Information; and
  • The specific pieces of Personal Information We collected about You.
• The right to delete. You have the right to request the deletion of Your Personal Information. By law, We may deny Your request to delete Your Personal Information in certain circumstances, including if retention of the Personal Information is necessary to:
  • Complete a transaction with You, perform a contract with You, or if Your Personal Information is reasonably anticipated within the context of Our ongoing business relationship with You;
  • Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activity;
  • Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
  • Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with Your expectations;
  • Comply with a legal obligation; or
  • Otherwise use Your Personal Information internally in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which You provided the information.
• The right to not be discriminated against. You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of Your consumers’ rights under the CCPSA.
• The right to access. You have the right, once a year, to request information regarding the disclosure of certain categories of Your Personal Information to third-parties for their direct marketing purposes. We reserve the right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the email or mailing address specified at the end of this Privacy Policy.

Exercising Your CCPA Rights

If you are a consumer customer who resides in California, You may exercise Your above rights by contacting Us using the contact information set out at the end of this Privacy Policy. We will take reasonable steps to verify Your identity prior to fulfilling the above requests. We will respond to Your request free of charge within 45 days of receiving Your verifiable request, by mail or a readily usable electronic format. We may extend this period once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case We will provide You with notice and an explanation of the reason.

If We deny Your request for any reason, whether due to the inability to verify your identity, or in the event of a conflict with applicable law, or pursuant to CCPA or otherwise, We will notify You and explain the reasons for the denial. We will also comply with Our obligations under CCPA in connection with any such denial.

The Website and the Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us, including payment processors and shipping carriers. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party’s site.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services. Once You leave Our website or are redirected to a third party’s website or application, You are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.
