Welding Cable
Extra flexible stranded bare copper conductors. A paper separator is applied between conductor and insulation. Black, Red, or Green Ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) insulation, -40°C to 105°C, 600 Volts
Applications
- Welding cable is designed for use in electric arc-welding machines to power an electrode, a specially designed metal rod, that conducts a charge.
- The charge carried by the electrode is needed to produce an electric arc, the heat source, between the electrode and the metals, or other materials, being welded.
- Secondary voltage for welding leads; leads for motors, generators, and batteries
