Type W
Single or multi conductor flexible, soft drawn stranded tinned copper conductors.
A separator tape is applied between the conductor and insulation to facilitate stripping.
Insulation is colour coded synthetic rubber EPR.
Conductors are assembled round with suitable fillers as needed.
A single faced rubber filled binder tape is applied over the insulation for mechanical strength.
A Hard usage, oil-resistant thermoset flame rated FT1/FT5 black CPE jacket is applied.

- Portable and Power Feeder Cables for Use in Mines and Similar Applications.
- Multi conductor cables are suitable for submersion in water.
- Type W cables are for use in heavy duty services as power supply cable, AC systems, mobile and portable electrical equipment, motor and battery leads.
